چکیده

At El Chucho creek, located to the west of Valle del Cauca department in Colombia, some hydrothermal alterations affecting Buga Batholith rocks and dykes porphyritic quartz-dioritic tonalitic composition were identified. These lithological units host mineral occurrences pyrite, chalcopyrite, molybdenite that occur disseminated or associated with quartz veinlets. The identified phyllic, propylitic, and, minor quantity, potassic. two firsts alterations’ distribution is related structures pervasive, whereas last one seems restricted contact zones on tonalite. Microthermometric data acquired i) veinlets 1 cm thick over a phyllic alteration zone, ii) veinlet chalcopyrite ± copper silicates, both cutting phaneritic Those suggest mineralizing fluids have an aqueous-saline chemical system trapped under low volatile content. microthermal allowed authors identify events. One them higher temperature, homogenization temperatures between 275°C-480°C; as second event characterized by lower range from 100°C 139°C.

Two new species of Elaphopsocoides n. gen. from Valle del Cauca, Colombia, are here described and illustrated. The new genus is related to Elaphopsocus Roesler, but differs from it mostly in the hypandrial projections and in phallosome structure. The female subgenital plate has a distinct, median, posterior projection. The types are deposited in the Entomology Museum, Universidad del Valle (MUS...
